RE: Correct Procedure to Reboot Your TechLink Computer
Assuming your batteries are fully topped off and assuming you have a Trace SW inverter like Chuck's, you can pop the inverters out of the bulk charging phase by:
1) simultaneously pressing the red (on/off menu button) and the green (gen menu button), this will get you into the inverter setup menu, 2) press the "Menu Headings" button to navigate to menu number 9, and again simultaneously depress the red and green buttons, this will pop you into the extended setup menus, 3) menu 10 is the "Battery Charging" menu, 4) press the "Menu Items" button to navigate to "Set Absorption Time", 5) press the "Set Points" buttons to set the Absorption time to 00:00:00, you'll see the yellow bulk led turn off and the green float led turn on, 6) once the float led illuminates, be sure to use the "Set Points" buttons to restore the Absorption time. david brady, '02 Wanderlodge LXi 'Smokey' (Sold), '04 Prevost H3 Vantare 'SpongeBob' "there is no perfect forum there are only perfect forums" |
